How do payouts work for promoters?
GatePass collects all revenue securely through digital payment methods like Wave or AfriMoney. You can request a daily payout or wait until the event ends—whatever suits you best.
When and how do I get paid?
Payments are sent to your mobile wallet or bank account. Most promoters choose Wave or AfriMoney for fast, easy access. You'll receive a payout summary each time funds are released.
Can I scan tickets myself, or do I need to hire staff?
You can do it yourself! Any member of your team can use the GatePass app or web dashboard to scan tickets using a smartphone camera. Or, if you prefer, we can provide professional gate staff.
Can GatePass detect fake or duplicate tickets?
Yes. Each ticket has a unique QR code that cannot be copied or reused. Our scanner flags any duplicate instantly—so only valid guests are allowed entry.
Can I scan tickets without internet access?
Yes. Our system supports offline scanning. Even if the internet cuts out, tickets will still validate, and all data will sync once you're back online.
How do I check guests in at the gate?
Use your Promoter Dashboard or the GatePass app to view the live attendee list and scan each guest’s QR code. You’ll instantly know if the ticket is valid or not.
What if a guest loses their phone or can’t show their ticket?
As the promoter, you’ll have access to the full guest list. If someone can’t show their ticket but they’ve paid, you can look up their name and manually check them in.
Can I edit or update my event after it’s live?
